What is the YPSF Fellowship?
The fellowship is our flagship programme. Fellows research a question about education or decent work with a mentor, join regular peer sessions, and present their work in public, with the option to publish it through the Publications Lab. It is free.
Who can apply to YPSF?
Young people anywhere in the world. YPSF is remote-first, so you can take part from wherever you are. No prior research or advocacy experience is required.
Is there a deadline for applications?
No. Admissions are rolling, so you can apply at any time. We reply within two to three weeks.
What support do fellows receive?
A mentor, a peer cohort, editorial support for publishing, a public showcase for finished work, and access to YPSF events and the wider DMUN Foundation network.
Can I volunteer with YPSF?
Yes. Our teams recruit volunteers on a rolling basis, from research and editing to communications and operations. Write to admin@ypsforum.org and tell us where you would like to help.
How can organisations partner with YPSF?
Schools, NGOs, employers and public institutions partner with us on workshops, publications and pilot projects. Email admin@ypsforum.org to start a conversation.
Where does YPSF operate?
Everywhere our members are. YPSF is a global, remote-first organisation, with in-person programming in the New York City area.
How is YPSF funded?
YPSF is a programme of the DMUN Foundation, which is funded by voluntary contributions and charges no fees for any programme. Taking part in YPSF is free.
