About YPSF
A youth-led forum where research, publishing and advocacy meet on education and work.
Who we are
The Youth Publications & Socioeconomic Forum (YPSF) is a youth-led organisation working to improve education quality and access to decent work. Young people run our research, write our publications and speak in our name at forums and consultations.
Our mission is to amplify youth voices through research, publications and action that advance quality education (SDG 4) and decent work (SDG 8). Our vision is a world where young people shape policy and opportunity in every community.

How we work
YPSF brings young leaders, researchers, educators, employers and public institutions together to work out solutions that improve lives. Youth speak at forums and consultations; we turn their insights into policy briefs; our publications carry the evidence into public debate; and our programmes test ideas in practice with partners on the ground.
Part of the DMUN Foundation
Since July 2026, YPSF has been a programme of the DMUN Foundation under a cooperation agreement signed at United Nations Headquarters. YPSF members hold membership of the Foundation, the YPSF Secretariat sits within the Foundation Secretariat, and the programme keeps significant autonomy in how it runs its work. Through the Foundation, YPSF connects to a membership of 27,284 young people across 172 countries and territories and to engagements across the United Nations system.
